Still Alive and Kicking

I know it's been a really long time since I've posted here. But I can't bear to get rid of this blog. I like the stuff I've posted here! I think this blog will continue to be a "short comics and sketches" blog for me. For now I just wanted to let whoever's reading this know that I've posted an entry at my webcomic website, www.xochitlandnemo.com, about the old zines I made 10-12 years ago. Check it out here. While you're there, if you feel like checking out my comic, just click on the website's title banner to go to the latest comic. From there you can quickly navigate back to the beginning of the story. Cool.

bike-child

Mari told me about this dream she had about the child we are expecting, and I could picture it very easily as a 2-panel comic. Here it is.

Dissed!

I have another one coming soon! In a few dayz! Hope you like this one.

You Make Time Fly

I actually dreamt this strip. The images, the number of panels, and the words. Not the shaven-headedness, that's just my own decision.

Nigel & The Concubines

Our cat Nigel (or "Nige" for short) is a rather big, voracious tomcat. Thus the fear of the concubines. Samurai and his dialogue was added by Mari after her discovery of my scenario on the refrigerator.

Image on left is by Taiwanese artist Ying-Chieh Liu ("who goes by the name ImageNation on Flickr"), graffitied version on right features my quick doodle.

Some drawings of the models in class last quarter.
